Then again, with so much information on the internet, I can see why people would be confused to ask this question….

This letter to you is to give you an understanding, my understanding of why lead generation works…

How does a business survive if it does not have leads/prospects/visitors coming into the shop? I say all three because today they are used interchangeably…

Online, you have visitors who clicked on an ad or a post that sounded interesting enough for them to be curious to read on.

If your information is relatable to them, now they become a prospect. Once they sign up to whatever free thing you just gave them, now they’re a lead because now you have their contact info where you send them all kinds of stuff related to that THING you gave them for FREE.

Okay, back to the SEO purpose.

CONTENT IS KING

How does Content and SEO and Lead Generation tie together?

You give content, the content is based on the keyword you want to rank for that is relative to what your business offers, such as services or products, maybe a subscription or a piece of software….

Give lots of information regarding what your business does or what products you have, keep offering free things, then people sign up to receive free advice…until that free advice is only so much that they now need to buy from you.
